1. A shallow well with hand pump to provide drinking water for the dogs. This would benefit the dog owners by not having to carry in water, and benefit the volunteers by reducing the amount of trash that needs to be carried out.
Estimated cost $300.
GREAT NEWS! WE HAVE RECEIVED A GENEROUS DONATION TO HAVE THE WELL/HAND PUMP INSTALLED. ALL APPROVALS ARE IN & IT SHOULD BE INSTALLED THIS SPRING!

2. Brick pavers for the transition area. This 12 x 12 foot area takes the most foot traffic by both dogs and humans, and can be muddy during certain times. The bricks would provide a durable surface that would remain dry under all conditions.
Estimated cost $200.
3. Additional stone for the parking lot. The lot is generally very dry, but a few loads of stone would upgrade it nicely.
Estimated cost $500.
4. Contingency Fund. With the location of the park being in the woods, it is only a matter of time before a branch takes out a section of fence. The park would need to be closed until the repairs are made, and right now we have no extra money set aside to take care of this.
